Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility.
At Bellfield, we take safeguarding seriously and take a proactive role in ensuring our pupils are safe. We make sure every pupil feels happy, secure and able to talk to us if there is something worrying them. All staff are trained to spot concerns and act quickly, working with families to give the right support.
We also teach children how to stay safe in school, online and in the community. Safeguarding is part of everything we do, so parents can feel confident that their child(ren) are cared for and protected.

Birmingham Safeguarding Partnership
The Birmingham Safeguarding Children Partnership (BSCP), a partnership of agencies who work together to prevent child abuse and neglect, have launched a campaign & video to raise awareness that: ‘keeping children safe is everybody’s business’.
The campaign focuses on raising community awareness of what to do if you are worried about a child and most importantly to encourage members of the public to call Birmingham City Council’s Children’s Advice & Support Service to report their concerns, so action can be taken to safeguard and protect the child.

In this time of everything being online, and a huge array of different social media sites/ apps, why not download an app that means you can monitor and restrict time/ sites your child uses? Go to the Apple app store or Google play to download - simple to use and easy to monitor! It also means you can check for anything inappropriate or any types of cyber-bullying. One that our staff use is 'Screen Time', but others can be found HERE
