Communication
"Belonging, Believing, Together Achieving"
We keep parents up to date in different ways with what is going on within school. We use:
- Class Dojo
- School Website
- Newsletters

The school has an 'open door' policy for parents/ carers If you have any concerns about your child, in the first instance, please speak to your child's class teacher or teaching assistant. They will be available to speak to at the end of the day. Alternatively you can arrange a meeting with them on Class Dojo or ring the school office (0121 464 4855) to make an appointment.
Class Dojo
When contacting your class teacher on Class Dojo, be aware that it is not possible for them to respond to messages instantly as their first priority is teaching. Teachers will respond within 48 hours to queries. If it is urgent it strongly advised you ring the school or contact one of the following via Class Dojo;
- Mrs Bahra or Mrs Martin (Main Office)
- Mr Attwood (Headteacher)
- Miss Campbell-Kelly or Mrs du Toit (Deputy Headteacher)
- Mrs Priddon or Miss Topping (SENDco)
- Beccy or Mrs Harvey (Pastoral Team)
As you may need to speak to someone different within the school, see the staff list for who your question maybe best suited to. You can either message them on Class Dojo, ring the school office or email enquiry@bellfield.bham.sch.uk and your email will be forwarded to the person who is best suited to help with your enquiry/concern.

Nursery, Reception and KS2 Resource Base
For pupils, in some classes, we use Tapestry to keep parents/carers informed of your child's progress. This is an online learning journey where photos and information will be uploaded to capture the wonderful things your child has been up to.
Details for your child's login to tapestry will be given when your child starts school.
